Here's another random Essie (I do love the half price for Essie when signed in at Nailsupplies). This time Wild thing.
Dark raspberry shimmer with sparse holo glitter. I kept the really blurry one to show off these little (almost) hidden gems a bit better. Consistency was really runny and dry time was long, so it'll probably stay in a drawer for a while, but it really is pretty.
Due to the longish dry time I managed to completely mangle both my thumbs. So instead of re-applying the same one I wanted to try out Platinum record from Color Club.
For some reason I keep calling this one Platinum pieces, probably as that's what it looks like. It's really sparkly large silver hex pieces with some smaller silver and grey glitters inbetween. I do think it probably will look a lot better layered over a black or similar.
And for the full hand
So, what do you think?

Color Club ~ Revvvolution
Yay! I've had a pretty big lemming on this one ever since seeing pictures of it. It's goooooorgeous. So with no further ado:
Nice, mottled grey. Sweet and demure. Yeah right. With sunlight (or any direct light) Prepare for picture overload:
I found it very hard to capture completely, but the second you put some light on it, it gives you a gorgeous, rainbow holo. It's not a llinear holo, but nor is it a regular holo glitter either. It's absolutely lovely, and I've caught myself sitting admiring my nails in all sorts of lights. I think i'm in love.
Do you have any lemmings? Care to share :-)?

Color Club ~ Holiday splendour
And finally the last of the three glitters I got from Beyond the mistletoe. I really hope the last three get back in stock soon so I can get them before christmas.
One coat:
Two coats:
Small holo glitters in a green jelly-ish base. I know it looks blue/turquois-ish in the pictures, and I've tried to search the net for more colour accurate shots, but it seems they all come out like this. Trust me, it's green green, not blue green. Nice enough polish, but I personally prefer the other two. Which one is your favourite?

Kleancolor ~ Starry meteor
This is a very sheer, green based holo glitter polish. Here layered over China Glaze Paper chasing:

The base is incredibly sheer so this is definately a layering polish for me. It has both long stick-glitter and medium round, both types holo. Here I have only one coat, so it's not overly blingy, but gives a nice bit of oomph to PC. I think with a coat or two more it'd be a real showstopper. :-)

Color Club ~ Beyond the mistletoe
This is the namesake from the Color Club collection Beyond the mistletoe. It doesn't say outright anywhere, but due to the name and awesome bling-factor I assume this is atleast part of the holiday release(s). And is it ever sparkly. They are actually so sparkly I had major problems getting them properly focused. (Okay, I was sloppy. Don't tell anyone ;-) )
One coat:
Two coats:
Three coats:
And for extra glitter goodness, one shot (purposely this time):
The base is a pale baby blue and it's absolutely packed with small holo glitter. Seriously, this is the stuff Edward Cullen's skin is made of. And, in contrast to the Twilight movies, this one is truly awesome!
Application was good, dry time was fast. Even with one coat of Seche vite it's pretty gritty, so for the not so patience-challenged among us a thicker topcoat is probably better.
I absolutely recommend you get this one. It's party on a bottle, and for $3,- it really is a no-brainer :-)

Kleancolor ~ Chunky holo black
This is probably the polish I had looked the most forward to of my new Kleancolor polishes. In the bottle it's a true rainbow, but on the nail I mainly got gold/orange and green flashes. This is one coat over a generous coat of China Glaze Liquid leather:
I first attempted to wear it on it's own, but it's so incredibly sheer that I'd never be happy. Application is easy, and there was no need for any major fishing expeditions. However I was rather sad that none of the blue/purple flash showed up on the nail. Anyone else tried this and managed to get all the colours?

Kleancolor ~ Grand finale
Another of Kleancolor's awesome glitters. Here layered over China Glaze's Gussied up green:
This is a really weird and unusual (for me atleast) glitter. To be honest it makes me think of a cd that has been thrown through a woodchipper. It's long, spindly silver-holo sticks in a clear base. You gotta pay a little bit of attention when applying to get the glitter pieces where you want, but it's no big hassle. I tried this over Gussied up green as I already wore it, but I'm not completely sold on the combo. I think it would be awesome over a black, or generally brighter colours. As in either go bright and colourful, or stick to plain black.
In the end it's still an awesome glitter, and I look forward to testing it over other colours aswell. :-)

Kleancolor ~ Chunky holo teal
After a couple of days wear I decided to try the Chunky holo teal over Teal marble, and here is the result. It's a holo glitter in a very sheer, slightly blue base. If this wasn't layered I don't really want to think about how many coats it would need, but it's a pretty layering polish.
I also got a slightly weird picture that really shows off the golden aspects of the holo glitter
Sorry about the tipwear, but working in a lab wearing gloves for full days really kills nailpolish. I'm just glad (and very surprised) this one didn't automatically peel after a day which is usually what happens. The top picture shows off the holo glitter in the bottle quite well too I think.
